I've ensconced aforementioned Orbi AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi System with an AT&T Uverse system. I replaced the AT&T Wireless Access Point with the Orbi main Routing and configured it for AP mode. Update: As of 11:20AM EST issue is resolved. Problem was related to migration of cloud services IPTV (change of IP address) in the Azure cloud for U-Verse mid-region IPTV server. Old IP restored. Customers may need to reboot their STBs that are not working. If that doesn't work then soft recovery maybe needed.

My current setup, which has been working for more than a year is this: old uverse telephone/dsl cable comes in and goes to my old 2wire i3812 (note that I do not have Uverse DSL, for at least a year now), which then uses an ethernet cable to connect to the ATT access point, which of course sends to the wireless receiver.
