I actually ended up finding an optics ready version of the Shadow 2, and in the hayday of the covidness I was able to sell the original Shadow 2 (non-optics ready) for what I paid. The difference came out to $100-ish, and I preferred a factory cut! If the platform you're using can be purchased optics ready, I recommend it!Just got Shadow 2 slide back Just got the slide back from Primary Machine were it got the Harbinger V2 milling and direct optic cut for a SRO and refinished. They got it done within the lead time window on the website I love how it looks with the slide cuts and how low the SRO sits.

An RMR/SRO is too wide to be direct milled to a TS slide and really even a standard S2 slide without a adaptor plate of some type. That's not true, at least for the S2. CGW milled my SRO directly to my S2 slide. Not knocking the CZC plate system, just saying. It is true that the RMR footprint is wider then the slide.
