He found it on his property several years ago wedged into a tree and the tree was actually growing around it. He saw the handle sticking out and chiseled it out. He’s owned the property since the early 70’s. Serial number is 125584. In these parts, $150-$200+? If it is an inheritance, that in my opinion is the greater value. The 1905 M&P 4th change was in production from 1915-1948 with approximately half produced in the war era 1939-1945. These are the most common handgun of the western world.
